Fritz Porter joined WestEnd Advisors in 2008 and is a Partner and Investment Analyst.

Fritz entered the financial services industry in 1999. Prior to joining WestEnd Advisors, he was an Analyst on Wachovia Securities’ leveraged loan trading desk and an Associate in their leveraged finance group. Before joining Wachovia Securities, Fritz worked in a number of buy-side roles in which he performed economic analysis and conducted fundamental sector and stock analysis. From 2002 to 2004, he was a Portfolio Manager for U.S. Trust and prior to that worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at State Street Global Advisors.

Fritz holds the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a graduate of Davidson College and received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
