Donna Black
Director of Operations
Donna Black joined WestEnd Advisors in 2005. Donna manages the overall operations and administrative functions at WestEnd Advisors. In addition, Donna manages the Firm's accounting and financial reporting activities.
Prior to joining WestEnd, Donna worked for 10 years as an Assistant Vice-President with First Carolina Investors, where she was an equity analyst focused on the banking and savings and loan industries. She also helped the firm with its SEC reporting and financial statement preparation. Before First Carolina Investors, Donna worked for KPMG Peat Marwick in the auditing department specializing in audits of savings and loan clients.
Donna has her CPA certificate, and is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Anna Brown
Trading
Anna Brown joined WestEnd Advisors in 2008. Anna manages the Firm’s trading desk and the input of client accounting data into our portfolio management systems.
Prior to joining WestEnd Anna worked for UBS Financial Services for 9 ˝ years as an Operations Manager and a Senior Registered Client Service Associate.
Anna is a graduate of the The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
JENNIFER fRIEDLAND, j.d.
Compliance
Jennifer Friedland joined WestEnd Advisors in 2011 and manages the compliance program at the firm.
Jennifer entered the financial services industry in 2004. Prior to joining WestEnd Advisors, she worked in a client services and compliance capacity for The Estate Management Group, Inc. and DeVita Kavanagh, a member of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Most recently, Jennifer completed an externship with the California Office of the Attorney General - Antitrust Division and an internship with the Los Angeles district office of FINRA in its Member Regulation department.
Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. degree and earned her law degree from Southwestern Law School.
Shannon HULL
Client Services
Shannon Hull joined WestEnd Advisors in 2011. Shannon manages Client Services and is the primary point of contact for WestEnd clients for all administrative and operational needs, including account openings.
Prior to joining WestEnd, Shannon worked in operations and project management at CBA Financial Advisors. Shannon has over twenty-two years of experience in the financial services industry.
Shannon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
DEBBIE LEHMAN
Administration
Debbie Lehman joined WestEnd Advisors in 2011. Debbie manages Office Administration which includes technology.
Prior to joining WestEnd, Debbie spent sixteen years in the financial services industry working in branch administration for Edward Jones and RBC Wealth Management.
Debbie attended Villanova University.
Cathy Lowe
Operations
Cathy Lowe joined WestEnd Advisors in 2009. Cathy conducts the portfolio performance calculation testing for all client portfolios and composites. In addition, Cathy manages all external reporting.
Prior to joining WestEnd, Cathy worked five years as senior manager in financial planning and analysis for Unisource Worldwide. In addition, she brings thirteen years of experience in capital markets including energy and equity trading, reporting, analysis and asset management for Mirant Corporation and Robinson-Humphrey. Cathy began her career in 1991 as a registered sales assistant for PaineWebber.
Cathy is a graduate of The University of Georgia.
Tricia Tauzin
Operations
Tricia Tauzin joined WestEnd Advisors in 2006. Tricia oversees operational duties related to trading, account reconciliation, interfaces with custodians and brokers, maintenance of client accounts, and individual account and composite performance reporting.
Before joining WestEnd, she worked for three years for Sterling Capital Management, most recently as the Controller. Before Sterling, Tricia was Operations Manager for Akre Capital Management.
Tricia is a graduate of Virginia Tech University.
Parkie Thomas
Administration
Parkie Thomas joined WestEnd Advisors in 2006. Parkie provides invaluable administrative support to WestEnd's clients and staff, keeping the office organized and running smoothly.
