John Black is the Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer of WestEnd Advisors. He is responsible for the management of WestEnd’s business functions, including Finance, Operations, Compliance, Client Services, and Administration.

John entered the financial services and investment advisory industry in 1979 and has served in senior management positions with several major investment firms including Wheat First Securities, J.C. Bradford, and UBS.

John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
